Testimony of Healing/Pregnancy

Tabby Brantley - I got engaged over 30 years ago. Shortly after the proposal my fiancée was diagnosed with testicular cancer. He had two surgeries and several rounds of chemo. We were told he would never be able to have children. We were young and heartbroken. We were married a year later and decided to visit a fertility clinic. Once again we were informed we would not be able to have children and should consider adopting.

I started keeping a prayer journal. I prayed for many things but one thing in particular was for God to help me accept the fact that I would not have children. I could get through the heartache as long as God would help me to move on. I taught school and had so many children to love in the classroom.

Well… four years later I started feeling really nauseous. I thought it was my gallbladder. In the doctor’s office I learned I was pregnant! I went out and bought a card for my husband that said we were getting an addition to our family. He believed I was bringing home a puppy! Oh what joy when we brought home a baby girl nine months later. We believed it was a one-time miracle and we were praising God for this gift. Then, thirteen months later we welcomed our second daughter into the world. God is so good. He knows His plan for us. We were told we would never have children but God showed us it is all according to his Will. He answered my prayers in a powerful way. I still praise Him for His grace and blessings.
