Pray God’s Word – Day 7

Adoration: Father, I praise Your Holy Name.

Psalms 89:8-14 (NIV)

Who is like you, Lord God Almighty?
You, Lord, are mighty, and your faithfulness surrounds you.

9 You rule over the surging sea;
when its waves mount up, you still them.
10 You crushed Rahab like one of the slain;
with your strong arm you scattered your enemies.
11 The heavens are yours, and yours also the earth;
you founded the world and all that is in it.
12 You created the north and the south;
Tabor and Hermon sing for joy at your name.
13 Your arm is endowed with power;
your hand is strong, your right hand exalted.

14 Righteousness and justice are the foundation of your throne;
love and faithfulness go before you.

Pause here and add your personal words of adoration for God.

Confession: Father, I freely confess my sins and ask for cleansing.

Isaiah 53:4-6

Surely He has borne our griefs
And carried our sorrows;
Yet we esteemed Him stricken,
Smitten by God, and afflicted.
5 But He was wounded for our transgressions,
He was bruised for our iniquities;
The chastisement for our peace was upon Him,
And by His stripes we are healed.
6 All we like sheep have gone astray;
We have turned, every one, to his own way;
And the Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all.

Pause here and ask the Holy Spirit to bring to your mind any sin you need to confess. Receive his forgiveness through the blood of Jesus Christ.

Thanksgiving: I thank You, Father, for your goodness to me.

2 Corinthians 4:6-9

6 For it is the God who commanded light to shine out of darkness, who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.7 But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us. 8 We are hard-pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; 9 persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed…

Pause here and thank God for recent blessings, answers to prayer, etc….

Supplication: Father, I come humbly before You and ask that you deliver me from evil today and always. In obedience to Your command, I bring these needs before Your throne. Grant these according to Your will

Psalms 121

I will lift up my eyes to the hills—
From whence comes my help?
2 My help comes from the Lord,
Who made heaven and earth.

3 He will not allow your foot to be moved;
He who keeps you will not slumber.
4 Behold, He who keeps Israel
Shall neither slumber nor sleep.

5 The Lord is your keeper;
The Lord is your shade at your right hand.
6 The sun shall not strike you by day,
Nor the moon by night.

7 The Lord shall preserve you from all evil;
He shall preserve your soul.
8 The Lord shall preserve your going out and your coming in
From this time forth, and even forevermore.

Pause here and bring your needs to the Lord. Ask the Holy Spirit to bring to your mind the needs of others that He would have you pray for today.
