Pray God’s Word – Day 31

Adoration: Father, I praise Your Holy Name.

Psalms 89:1-5

“I will sing of the mercies of the Lord forever;
With my mouth will I make known Your faithfulness to all generations.
2 For I have said, “Mercy shall be built up forever;
Your faithfulness You shall establish in the very heavens.”

3 “I have made a covenant with My chosen,
I have sworn to My servant David:
4 ‘Your seed I will establish forever,
And build up your throne to all generations.’” Selah

5 And the heavens will praise Your wonders, O Lord;
Your faithfulness also in the assembly of the saints…

Pause here and add your personal words of adoration for God.

Confession: Father, I freely confess my sins and ask for cleansing

Ezekiel 36:25-27

Then I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you shall be clean; I will cleanse you from all your filthiness and from all your idols. 26 I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. 27 I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will keep My judgments and do them

Colossians 1:13

13 He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, 14 in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins…

Pause here and ask the Holy Spirit to bring to your mind any sin you need to confess. Receive his forgiveness through the blood of Jesus Christ.

Thanksgiving: I thank You, Father, for your goodness to me.

Psalms 16:5-6

O Lord, You are the portion of my inheritance and my cup;
You maintain my lot.
6 The lines have fallen to me in pleasant places;
Yes, I have a good inheritance.

Pause here and thank God for recent blessings, answers to prayer, etc….

Supplication: Father, I come humbly before You and ask that you deliver me from evil today and always. In obedience to Your command, I bring these needs before Your throne. Grant these according to Your will.

Isaiah 62:6-7

I have set watchmen on your walls, O Jerusalem;
They shall never hold their peace day or night.
You who make mention of the Lord, do not keep silent,
7 And give Him no rest till He establishes
And till He makes Jerusalem a praise in the earth.

Romans 8:26-28

Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. 27 Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God.

28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.

Pause here and bring your needs to the Lord. Ask the Holy Spirit to bring to your mind the needs of others that He would have you pray for today.
